Showa Shell Sekiyu has decided to offer complimentary presents to shareholders in order to thank their support to the Company.
1 Who is qualified:
Shareholders and substantial shareholder who own more than 100 shares as of 30th June 2000.
2 What kind of compliment:
One invitation ticket to the exhibition of Great Treasures of The British Museum to be held at 4 sites( Tokyo, Kobe, Fukuoka and Niigata)
3 When to be sent:
Ticket will be sent to shareholders together with the report on interim dividend early in September
4 Others :
It needs more study to decide whether or not we should formally introduce thecomplimentary system

This is a unique oversea project held outside Great Britain for the celebration of the 250 years of The British Museum establishment. The exhibition will start in Tokyo Oct 2003 and be held at 3 other sites for two years in turn.
