Showa Shell Sekiyu K.K. invests in Toyotsu Sekiyu Hanbai K.K. , a 100% subsidiary of Toyota Tsusho K.K. with the effect of 1st April.
Showa Shell acquires the allocation of new shares to a third party from Toyotsu Sekihan. After the investment, Toyota Tsusho holds 65.3% and Showa Shell holds 34.7% of Toyotsu Sekihan.
This Showa Shell's investment in Toyotsu Sekihan is one of the alliances with Toyota Tsusho, and the two companies will strengthen the competitiveness of Toyotsu Sekihan and expand the oil products sales in the Chukyo area, the core market in Japan.
