Policy for elimination of harassment
 In our company's "Code of Conduct", it is defined as a responsibility to employees "to respect the personalities and individuality of its employees, to provide its employees with safe conditions of work and good terms and conditions of services, to promote the development and best use of human talent and to encourage the full participation by its employees in their work and the application of these principle", and in our "Compliance Book", we announce as "Our Promise", as follows.

"We DO NOT make harassment. And we DO NOT overlook it, and keep healthy workplace."

 Harassment in work place such as sexual, and power harassment is an act of damaging employee's individuality and dignity, regardless men and women. It is not allowed socially, and is also the problem of disturbing effective performance of employee's ability. It also hinders moral in workplace and execution of business and spoils the image and reliability of the company, which influences badly on social evaluation of the company.

 Sexual harassment is defined as sexual words and behavior that make employees feeling uncomfortable, spoil their motivations and hinders them from concentrating on work, which damage the workplace environment. And it is also recognized as sexual harassment that employee is unfairly treated in his/her work condition such as personal evaluation or transfer of workplace because of his/her resistance to the harassment.
 Power harassment is defined as words and behavior that spoil the workplace environment or cause uneasiness about employment by damaging employee mentally or physically, with abuse of the authority sometimes beyond the business scope.
 Furthermore, harassment includes moral harassment, which is the repeat of annoying employee and affronting his/her human dignity. Discriminatory words based on the employee's characteristics, such as native place or education background, is also regarded as harassment.

 Because we understand that company's responsibility is to keep healthy workplace from harassment, we hereby set our standard policy as follows.

< Policy for elimination of harassment >

  1. We DO NOT allow any harassment in workplace.
  2. We continuously execute the following measures to keep our workplace from harassment.
    • We ensure employees of "harassment preventive guideline in work place".
    • We set up help-line of "Consulting for harassment in workplace" to deal with consultation or complaint throughout the company. When we deal with the consultation and the complaint, the privacy of people concerned is strictly protected, and we do not treat them disadvantageously by the reason of consulting and cooperation of investigation of the fact.
    • The personnel department resolves, with consulting with help line, each harassment problem in work place by prompt and accurate fact-finding and try to prevent its recurrence.
    • Our company show fortitude against harassment problems in work place.
    • In addition to provide training course for better understanding and enlightenment of harassment problems, we continue to consider a better way of preventive measure and appropriate steps by reflecting employees' opinion.
  3. HR Director is responsible to keep the work place in good condition according to this policy.
